D) Watch Our Progress: On-going Feature Repairs

Feature Repairs: Watch Our Progress

A number of important historic tombstones have been chosen for a special web-based project. We will be making conservation repairs to these monument, and, as progress is made, we will be updating this webpage and the Watch Our Progress: Featured Repairs Photo Gallery.

Repairs targetted for completion in 2006 include:

  • a set of broken marble slabs (fallen and damaged before 1985)

We will also be reporting our progress in a number of complex and long-term repairs. These will include work on targets for 2006/7: such as,

Donations to support the conservation work will be gladly accepted: any monies received will be used to defray the costs of these particular repairs, and/or to help fund future conservation work. Alternatively, donations can be made to the Care & Maintenance Fund for Monuments.
