Threadworks is a special project of Ontario Network of Needleworkers' (ONN) and is supported by Wellington County Museum & Archives (WCM&A).
Threadworks' mandate is to mount, every three years, a juried show of exceptional creative needlework stitched by artists from across Canada. The show opens at the WCM&A and then travels to a number of museus and galleries across Ontario during the next two years.

on April 20 and runs to June 9, 2013.
Opening Reception and Awards: April 28, 2013 ~ 1:00-4:00 pm.
Guidelines:
Anyone from across Canada is invited to submit up to 3 pieces (the actual work, not photographs) by April 2-4, 2013 (shipped) or April 7 & 8, 2013 (hand-delivered between 10am-3pm). Please see Call For Entry.
Needlework under glass will not be accepted.
All pieces must be substantially worked with a threaded hand or machine needle and be of original design (no kits) and be delivered in a box that specifically fits the stitched work.
Our traveling crates are no larger than 36"wide x 45 "long x 18" deep and all pieces selected to travel for the next two years, will be packed securely into these crates.
Jury:
Judy Martin; an award-winning textile artist who combines fine art with traditional women's craft. Judy teaches and exhibits her dyed and hand stitched work extensively. She resides on beautiful Manitoulin Island, Ontario
William Hodge; a graduate of and professor of The Ontario College of Art, William is deeply interested in educating people in all areas of fibre art. he maintains Armure Studio in Stoney Creek, Ontario
Sylvia Naylor; an award-winning fibre artist and educator who conducts workshops in Canada, the U.S.A. and in England. She resides in Kingston , Ontario.
