Museum & Archives Announces New Line-up of Summer Art Workshops

Friday February 5, 2010
From: Wellington County Museum & Archives

Be prepared to expand your artistic vision with another summer of exciting art workshops. Discover your artist within, with this wide selection of courses in watercolours, acrylics, oils, pastels, quilting and fibre, and even medieval illumination.
by Phil Dietrich

There are courses to inspire the experienced artist and energize the beginner. New this year is a workshop in encaustic (painting with wax) with instructor Andrea Bird.
Most of these popular workshops, are held at Elora Public School, a clean and comfortable space with plenty of parking, and conveniently located near the heart of the beautiful village of Elora. Elora is an easy and scenic drive from the areas of Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Orangeville and Mount Forest. For students travelling a bit further, consider staying at one of Centre Wellington's welcoming hotels, charming inns or cozy B&Bs.

Workshop fees (+ applicable taxes)
5-day workshop: $199.00
3-day workshop: $119.40
2-day workshop: $79.60
