Guelph Creative Arts Association logo Guelph Creative Arts Association

Guelph Creative Arts Association is a welcoming visual arts organization, open to everyone practicing or interested in the arts in Guelph and surrounding areas.

Our members range from interested onlookers and "appreciators" to artists working in a variety of materials and techniques. Oils, watercolour, acrylics, assorted drawing methods, print making and film are some of the media used in two-dimensional art, while textiles, metal, clay, glass etc. may become three-dimensional tactile items of decoration and/or utility. We identify and welcome all categories of artists and artisans, whether professional or amateur, and encourage participation for the enjoyment of both creators and the community.

The membership application is here.

The Guelph Creative Arts Association offers workshops throughout the year. These workshops are offered to both members and non members.

GCAA owns and operates the Guelph Artisans Store. The store is located in the Old Quebec Street Mall, Guelph. It is comprised of a group of approximately 40 GCAA members who show and sell their art and crafts on a permanent basis.

Our Main Events are:

  1. "Holiday Marketplace" - X-mas market in beginning of December.

     2.   "Painting on the Green" - Occurs in June and it is an open juried art and craft show and sale.

     3.   "Made for You" - Craft shows in April and November promote local and area craftspeople who show and sell their crafts.

We invite you to learn more about us by reading the latest issue of our newsletter

GCAA is a registered charitable organization and issues tax receipts for donations and bequests.
