guelpharts.ca / wellingtonarts.ca is a dynamic web portal dedicated to connecting local arts and heritage organizations and individual artists with their audience(s), with each other, and with resources that will aid them in the creation, presentation and preservation of art and heritage. The site serves the CIty of Guelph and the County of Wellington in Ontario, Canada.

The website was conceived, initiated and dveloped by Guelph Arts Council, Guelph Musuems and Edward Johnson Music Foundation with the support of the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration through the volunteer @action.online program.  Barking Dog Studios of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, was selected to design the site.  The site was developed over an 18-month period in 2002 and 2003, and was officially launched in February of 2004. 

The site is managed by Guelph Arts Council and content is contributed by the many member organizations, individual artists, artist-run businesses and businesses or not-for-profits who are related to or supportive of arts and heritage.
