My work uses a wide range of colour, I love the vibrancy of colours coming together, and particularly the way encaustic medium provides that extra translucency to the colours, which I find magical. Through the process of art making I explore and reflect on life’s lessons, the journey and moments in time. Often through the development of my art, insights into life emerge, such as, new meanings about life’s beauty, the struggles, the wonder and the gifts, which are here for us to learn from on a daily basis. Though this practice can often be private it is also a gift to be able to share it with others and find new meanings from another’s point of view.
