A Brief History of Our Club
It was Ron Sainsbury's watercolour classes that sparked the idea that an art club could be formed with a fun way to pursue our common interest in painting. Many of the same people kept returning for subsequent classes and a sense of camaraderie soon became apparent to classmates Ethal Hindley and Doreen Lefneski. They approached the Evergreen administration and the Watercolour Painters Club was born in March 1995.
The Club continues to provide an opportunity for the members to practice their hobby while encouraging one another with ideas, support and inspiration.
The Club meets the first and fifth Wednesday of the month, 12:30 to 4 p.m. and the third Wdnesday of the month at 9 a.m.
